Disney’s The Lion King is back at the Capitol Theatre, and it’s a must-see for the whole family these school holidays. If your kids have been singing Hakuna Matata on repeat, this is where you need to take them.

This show is one you don’t want to miss, giraffes walk down the aisles, birds fly over your head and Pride Rock rises out of the mist while everyone’s belting out Circle of Life.

It’s won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and the soundtrack by Elton John and Tim Rice is one the kids will know by heart. The show is recommended for ages 6 and up, and tickets start from $60 with no booking fees. It’s a strictly limited Sydney season before the show heads to Brisbane in November, so book ahead to secure your seats.
