Carolaine Hartigan and Western Sydney Mums represents all that is powerful in Western Sydney.

Founder Carolaine was born in Mount Druitt and has lived and worked in Western Sydney her whole life (with the exception of the well-trodden stint overseas). Carolaine deeply feels the biases that exist that can keep brands from fully understanding and maximising on Western Sydney audiences, and so, as a devoted Mum-founder raising two kids with her husband in Western Sydney, Western Sydney Mums (WSM) was born in 2019 with the mission to flip stereotypes and showcase local Western Sydney businesses.

Carolaine is passionate about telling the stories that make living in Western Sydney so rich. There are so many fun and exciting experiences for the whole family – there’s so much more to Sydney that’s west of the Anzac Bridge! Carolaine and her team love to connect with brand owners, help families, and make a positive impact on the Western Sydney community that she calls home.
