FREE EVENT: Family Fun Day at NSW Parliament, 10 October

Don’t miss the excitement at NSW Parliament’s 15th annual free Family Fun Day!
When: Friday 10 October, 9:30am to 3:00pm
Where: NSW Parliament House, 6 Macquarie St, Sydney
This special one-day event at Australia’s first and oldest parliament will be packed with hands-on activities for children aged five to 12:
- Arts and craft
- Music and drawing with Archibald prize-winning artist Blak Douglas
- Interactive storytelling led by historical political characters
- Mock committee role play
- Mock voting with the NSW Electoral Commission
- Explore the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council Chambers
- Learn about the role of Legal Aid NSW in assisting citizens
For parents, grandparents and carers, take in the wonder of this heritage building and pack a lunch for a laidback family picnic in the Speaker’s Garden or order a light meal or drink in the Long Bell Café.
