School Holiday Drop-in Activity: A Day in the Life of a Soldier

Have you ever been curious about how a soldier lives in the field, or wondered what they eat or how they sleep?

Visit the Anzac Memorial these school holidays for a hands-on experience of a day in the life of a soldier.

Touch and wear real military equipment and uniforms with our sensory trolley and have a close-up look at a special tent soldiers use to keep themselves warm and dry at night, set up inside our Auditorium.

The Anzac Memorial team are excited to share their knowledge and guide you through all these interesting objects and what they are used for.

This hands-on experience will be held on Thursday 10 July and Friday 11 July, with two sessions per day including a neuroinclusive session each day. Drop in at any time during your allotted session.

Sessions:
– Thursday, 9 October – 8:30am-10:30am (neuroinclusive session)
