Christmas in the Pines at Lone Pine Tavern

Looking for a festive outing that’s easy on the budget and big on fun? You’re in luck. From Saturday 8 November, Lone Pine Tavern in Rooty Hill transforms into a magical, free Christmas village you’ll actually want to take the kids to.

From Friday 8 November, Lone Pine transforms into a Christmas village — with twinkling lights, decorated trees and heaps of photo spots that kids will love. It’s free to enter and open daily, so you can drop in anytime for dinner, a wander, or a few quick photos with the kids.

Starting Saturday 29 November through Wednesday 24 December, Santa Photos will be available at selected times, with sessions from $27 (+ booking fee). Santa’s ready for family snaps, big smiles, and a few Christmas wish-lists.

Throughout December Christmas Movies are showing on the big screen every Tuesday night from 6 pm. They will be screening all your festive favourites,

Then mark your calendar for Thursday 18 December from 5 pm, when Lone Pine hosts its very first Christmas Carols. Expect live music from Monique & Friends Band, performances from the Carol Murray Dance Group, a kids’ disco, and appearances from Santa, The Grinch, and the Gingerbread Man.

And just before Christmas, the fun keeps rolling with Christmas Toy Raffles on Sunday 21 December from 12 pm to 3 pm — a family afternoon packed with prizes, excitement, and festive cheer.
