Merrylands Welcomes Exciting New Retail and Dining Precinct at Mason & Main
Western Sydney is set to celebrate a buzzing new destination for food and culture, as Coronation Property prepares to officially open the highly anticipated retail and dining hub, at Mason & Main, in Merrylands.
The new Eat Street Merrylands at Mason & Main offers an exciting blend of casual street eats and premium dining experiences, as well as a range of hair, beauty and fitness brands providing convenience wellness and lifestyle options for locals.
The mix of exciting food offerings includes authentic Middle Eastern fare at Iftar, as well as traditional Turkish cuisine at Hayat, Aussie-style American comfort food at Fat Jak’s, Australia’s most desirable meat restaurant Macelleria, modern Mediterranean at Mase & Co, authentic flavours and traditions of Japan at Yuzu Dining, and sweet treats from Spain at San Churro. In addition, Mason & Main will feature Nawa Thai, Nikki’s Pizza, Nando’s, Sogogi Korean BBQ, C9 Gelato, Oakberry, Lukumades, Butterfield Cookies, and Self Raised Bakery.
The precinct’s festival style grand opening will officially introduce Mason & Main’s new Eat Street, Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights from Saturday 10 May until Sunday 25 May 2025.
Festivities will commence from 6pm each evening, featuring live music, interactive performers, food pop-ups and sampling, family-friendly games, not to mention over $20,000 worth of products and freebies to give away as part of a ‘Spin & Win’ promotion. The evening will be illuminated by night with performers glowing in LED lights, as well as a glitter bar and glam station with UV face painting and neon balloon giveaways.
Headlining the event will be The Bearded Bakers, bringing their pop-up bakery (@knafehsydney) back to Mason & Main for the first time since 2020, as they perform and cook their iconic knafeh desserts across the eight evenings.
The Bearded Bakers will also run a special kid’s knafeh making workshop on Saturday 17 May (bookings essential, 100 places available) as part of a ‘Family Day’ featuring giveaways, a prize wheel, pop-up nail bar, balloons, giant games, children’s entertainers, the KIIS FM Thunder Truck, and kids face glamming. Excitingly for local Mums and Dads, on the day Hilltop Childcare will also be giving away two 6-month free childcare packages, valued at $20,000 each.
As a multi-day event with eight separate evenings to choose from, the Mason & Main grand opening gives local families and the wider community the opportunity to come once or come multiple times, with prize giveaways, entertainment and an electric atmosphere offering something for everyone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights until the final weekend in May.
The official opening represents the final piece of the puzzle for Coronation’s Mason & Main precinct, which includes 434 build-to-rent apartments across three buildings, as well as 415 apartments for sale across two other buildings.
