ColourGrid Has Just Opened at Timezone Parramatta
If you’re looking for things to do with kids in Western Sydney that feel different to the usual arcade games, this one just landed in Parramatta.
ColourGrid officially opened on 14 February at Timezone Parramatta, and it’s a fast-paced, interactive game experience that feels like a mix between a game show and a digital dance floor.
What Is ColourGrid?
To play, you’ll need a Timezone Powercard.
A session of ColourGrid costs $6.00 per person per game. Simply tap your Powercard on the reader and you’re in.
For families looking for affordable kids activities in Parramatta or budget-friendly school holiday activities in Western Sydney, this is an easy add-on to a Timezone visit.
What Game Modes Can You Play?
ColourGrid includes several different game modes, so it doesn’t feel repetitive.
Red Light Green Light
A game of patience and timing. Move forward when the tiles are green and freeze when they turn red. Step on the wrong tile and you’re heading back to the start.
Escape The Lava
Avoid the red tiles at all costs. Green tiles are safe, and blue tiles score you points. It’s fast, chaotic and competitive.
Find The Colour
Each player is assigned a colour and races to step on all their matching tiles first. Simple concept, but surprisingly intense.
Sharp Shooter
Two teams face off in their zones. Tap bullets to attack, defend against your opponent’s tiles and keep an eye on your health bar. It’s part strategy, part speed.
Because the games rotate and update, it’s worth coming back to try different modes.
Why Families Will Like It
If you’re searching for indoor activities in Western Sydney or something energetic to burn off some energy, ColourGrid is a great option. It gets kids moving without feeling like structured sport, and it works for mixed age groups.
