Families in Miller have a brand-new reason to get outdoors with the official reopening of McGirr Park after a $1.5 million upgrade. The park was launched on Saturday, meaning it’s time to get the family outdoors!

McGirr Park has been completely refreshed with upgrades designed for all ages:
Modern outdoor gym for fitness lovers
Upgraded children’s playground with plenty to keep kids entertained
Improved pathways for walking, scooting and riding
Enhanced facilities to make family visits easier and more fun

Liverpool Council asked locals what they wanted, via the McGirr Park Draft Concept Plan, and used that feedback to tweak the final design into exactly what the community wanted.
