Families in Miller have a brand-new reason to get outdoors with the official reopening of McGirr Park after a $1.5 million upgrade. The upgrades were launched last month, meaning it’s time to get the family outdoors!

What’s New at the park
McGirr Park has been completely refreshed with upgrades designed for all ages:
Upgraded children’s playground with plenty to keep kids entertained
Improved pathways for walking, scooting and riding
New family play space
community celebration
Liverpool Council asked locals what they wanted, via the McGirr Park Draft Concept Plan, and used that feedback to tweak the final design into exactly what the community wanted.
