The Hills Easter Show 2026: The Ultimate Family Event in Castle Hill This Easter Long Weekend

If you’re searching for family-friendly Easter events in the Hills District, the Hills Easter Show 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most exciting things to do with kids this April.

Returning to Castle Hill Showground from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April, this four-day outdoor event offers a full schedule of rides, entertainment, food and activities designed for families of all ages.

Running daily from 11am to 10pm, the event has been thoughtfully designed as a flexible, full-day experience. Whether you’re planning a quick afternoon outing or a full day with the kids, there’s plenty to see and do at your own pace.

What’s new this year?
The 2026 Hills Easter Show introduces a number of family-focused improvements, including shaded seating areas and a dedicated chill-out zone, making it easier for parents and little ones to take a break throughout the day. There are also longer trading hours and more rides than ever before, helping reduce wait times and keep the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Rides and attractions for all ages
Families can expect a wide range of rides and attractions, from gentle rides for younger children to more exciting options for older kids. Highlights include a giant 30-metre slide, dodgem cars, the Hurricane ride, Storm ride and Whirlwind, alongside favourites like the Pirate Ship, Circus Train and Cups & Saucers.

There are also plenty of inflatables, obstacle courses and even mini golf to keep everyone in the family involved and playing together.

All-day entertainment the kids will love
Entertainment runs throughout the day, with a packed program of live wrestling, magic shows, circus performances, bubble shows and interactive stage games.

Families can also enjoy hands-on animal experiences, including a reptile farm, petting zoo and animal nursery, as well as meet-and-greet opportunities with superheroes, princesses, Transformers characters and Blue the Dinosaur roaming the event.

You’ll also spot the Easter Bunny across the weekend, along with a classic Easter egg hunt experience.

Food worth lining up for
This isn’t your average event food offering. Expect a lineup of popular and trending vendors including Paratha Burgers, T-Rex Burgers, Japanese Fruit Sando, Crunch Cakes and MATE Burger, alongside a wide selection of desserts and festival favourites.

Stay for the evening entertainment and fireworks
As the sun sets, the event continues with free nightly entertainment, including roaming performers such as LED dancers, fire performers and stilt walkers.

The highlight for many families will be the fireworks displays on Sunday and Monday nights, offering a memorable way to end your visit.
