Blacktown Aquatic Centre is getting a makeover! The renewed Blacktown Aquatic Centre represents a major $77.2 million investment to upgrade and modernise one of Western Sydney’s most popular community facilities. This redevelopment is designed to elevate the swimming and fitness experience for local residents.
The upgraded centre will significantly improve access for the community by offering expanded swimming facilities. These include a brand new indoor 50-metre swimming pool, a new 25-metre program pool designed to support high-quality learn-to-swim programs, and a refurbished 50-metre outdoor pool. The development also features inclusive amenities and changerooms, a new café, modernised foyer and reception areas, a splashpad extension, refurbished health and fitness rooms, and improved landscaping throughout the outdoor areas.
Strategically located near the Blacktown city centre, the refreshed aquatic facility aims to create more opportunities for residents to learn, thrive, and enjoy recreation close to home.
