Sizzler Is Making a Comeback
If you grew up lining up at the salad bar and loading your plate with cheesy toast, this is big news.
Sizzler is officially returning to Australia, almost six years after closing its doors in 2020. The buffet-style favourite will reopen later this year at the new NH Collection Sydney Airport hotel, with plans to expand nationally after that.
For so many families, Sizzler wasn’t just dinner — it was a whole event. Birthday dinners, celebrations, school holiday treats. You’d start with the salad bar (even if you didn’t really want salad), grab the pasta, maybe some potato skins and always leave room for dessert. And let’s be honest — the cheesy toast was the real reason we went.
Now there’s a real chance we could take our own kids to experience what we did growing up.
