Meet SpongeBob & Patrick on a Pirate Quest at SEALIFE Sydney

This summer, join SpongeBob, Patrick, and the gang on an epic quest beneath the waves as they journey to the ocean’s mysterious depths to face the ghostly Flying Dutchman!

Inspired by The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Search for SquarePants,in cinemas Boxing Day, this in-attraction activation invites you to complete seven swashbuckling mini-challenges, from solving riddles and spotting jellyfish to discovering your pirate name – all in pursuit of earning your very own Swashbuckler Certificate.

Your pirate journey begins at SpongeBob’s Puzzle Port, where you’ll need to solve a riddle to reveal SpongeBob’s best buddy. Then, join Squidward’s Jellyfish Jam and count the jellyfish drifting by in their glowing underwater world.

Next, Walk the Plank with Mr. Krabs… if you dare! Prove your courage and show you’ve got what it takes to be part of a true pirate crew. Strike a pose (or three!) with Patrick, then set out to spot sneaky Plankton, who’s stowed away somewhere among the SEA LIFE creatures.

Keep your eyes peeled for Gary the Snail, hiding somewhere in the depths, and finally, discover your pirate name and collect your official Swashbuckler Certificate from the Flying Dutchman’s treasure chest!

With pirate-themed fun woven through SEA LIFE Sydney’s real marine environments, and the chance to meet SpongeBob or Patrick in person, it’s a nautical adventure like no other!
