Blacktown Family Science Day 2026 celebrates the full spectrum of STEAM education: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. This year’s theme, “The impact of AI on climate change,” invites children, young people and families to explore how science, technology, creativity and critical thinking can help us understand and respond to real-world environmental challenges.

This free community event is designed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators. Families will be able to take part in a range of workshops, demonstrations, displays and interactive activities that connect science, technology, engineering, arts, maths, sustainability and future study pathways.

The 2026 program will include activities exploring engineering, robotics, environmental sustainability, urban heat, water use, insects, Earth science, dark matter, gravitational waves, university pathways and future STEM careers.

It is a perfect opportunity for families to learn, discover and imagine future possibilities together in a stimulating and inclusive environment.
