Cerebral Palsy Alliance Prairiewood Centre Open Day

Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) is excited to invite the community to an open day on Wednesday, 4 September 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at its Prairiewood centre, located at 224-244 Restwell Road, Prairiewood, NSW.

Come and learn about CPA's comprehensive services, supports and programs for people with cerebral palsy and similar physical disabilities. Meet the dedicated team, explore the facilities, and enjoy some light refreshments.

"We are thrilled to welcome the local community to our open day and look forward to meeting many new faces. The event will feature a short presentation followed by an interactive panel discussion, where attendees are encouraged to ask questions and engage with our friendly staff” said Program Coordinator Marnee May.

Event Highlights:

– Multi-disciplinary Therapy: Learn about the range of therapies including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Exercise Physiology, Swallowing and Mealtime Assessments, Wheelchairs and Mobility Equipment, Assistive Technology and our Accessible Gym.

– Lifestyles Programs: Discover services and supports for teens and adults (13 years+), including Youth Programs, Centre-based Day Programs, Masterclass, SLES (School Leaver Employment Supports) and Home and Community Programs.

– Supported Independent Living: Explore accommodation services offering 24/7 support across Sydney, Newcastle, and the Central Coast.

– Respite (Short Term Accommodation): Find out about dedicated short to medium-term stays for children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities across Sydney.

– Supported Employment: Learn about purposeful employment opportunities through Packforce at Wetherill Park and French's Forest packing centres.
