National Sorry Day

Bring your family to learn the stories of the Stolen Generations and reflect on how all Australians can play a part in the healing process.

Join the City of Parramatta at a free event at Old Government House in Parramatta as we gather to honour the Stolen Generations.

National Sorry Day is a day of acknowledgement, reflection and healing. It is a day to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflect on how all Australians can play a part in the healing process for the people and nation.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and civic leaders will honour their legacy with Smoking and Welcome Ceremonies, workshops and performances.

Everyone is welcome!
