Stockland The Gables Lake Foreshore Opening
Stockland is celebrating the opening of The Gables Lake Foreshore with a free community event for local families.
The new lakeside precinct gives families a fresh outdoor space to explore, with five playgrounds, a basketball half-court, boardwalks, picnic areas, accessible pathways and open green space.
On the day, families can enjoy live music, kids’ activities, arts and crafts, face painting and basketball competitions, while also having the chance to explore the new foreshore and playgrounds.
Bring the kids, pack a picnic and spend a relaxed morning by the lake. Families may also want to bring a basketball for the new half-court, or scooters and bikes to enjoy the accessible pathways and boardwalks.
It’s a great way to check out the facilities and find a new local spot for future weekend walks, playdates, picnics and school holiday outings.
Parking is available along nearby streets and in the town centre car park.
