Winterfest – Ice Skating
WinterFest is here, and it’s the coolest month Hay St Market at Paddy’s has ever had.
From 1 July to 2 August, Hay St Market at Paddy’s transforms into Sydney’s ultimate winter playground. A full month of activations means there’s always a reason to swing by, with or without the kids.
What’s on:
- Synthetic ice rink. Glide, wobble and giggle your way through a 30-minute skate session, no freezing temperatures required. Safe and suitable for all ages and skill levels.
- Hourly snowfall moments. Indoor snow falls on the hour, every hour, and it’s honestly one of the prettiest photo opportunities you’ll find all winter. Grab the family, grab your friends, and get the shot.
- Candlelit jazz nights. Grown-up evenings with warm light, live music and even warmer drinks.
- Off Campus. Our Thursday Student Night launch party.
- A winter-dedicated menu. Think comfort food and cosy drinks from your favourite traders.
Make a day of it. Start with a browse through Paddy’s Markets Haymarket for fresh produce, bargains and gifts, then wander over to Hay St Market at Paddy’s for your skate session, snow moments and a bite to eat.
Skating essentials:
- $15 per person includes your 30-minute session and skate hire
- Sessions run daily, 10am to 7:30pm
- Every ticket comes with a 25% off voucher to use at a trader, collected from the Concierge Desk on the day
- Find the rink in the Main Quarter, right in front of Pasta e Basta
- Spaces are limited, so book ahead
- Under-18s need a parent or guardian on-site to sign the waiver
