We were lucky enough to catch Minions & Monsters at IMAX last night and we have one thing to say — this is the best one yet.
If you have been a Minions fan since the beginning, this seventh film in the Gruniverse is everything you have been waiting for. It is rambunctious, ridiculous and genuinely hilarious — the kids were beside themselves and the adults in the room were laughing just as hard. IMAX made it even more incredible, the colours and sound are on another level.
The story follows the Minions as they conquer Hollywood, become movie stars, lose everything, accidentally unleash monsters onto the world and then have to band together to save the planet from the chaos they created. Classic Minions energy from start to finish.
At 90 minutes it is the perfect length — long enough to be a proper cinema experience, short enough that the little ones stay glued to the screen the whole way through
