New Savers Store in Marsden Park

The much-loved thrift store Savers in Marsden Park is open from the 21st of August! Savers started as a single shop for finding secondhand goods and have now turned into a bargain shoppers dream. We got a sneak peek of the new shop & loved the neatly organised categories of items to purchase.

Designed with the local community in mind, this new store makes secondhand shopping easy and fun for growing families, with most items priced under $10 on average. That means you can revamp the kids’ wardrobes, update your home décor, or even score a vintage find — all without breaking the bank.

Inside New Savers Marsden Park

Located on Richmond Road in a brand-new retail precinct, the Marsden Park Savers sits alongside Western Sydney favourites like El Jannah and Snap Fitness — and it’s just down the road from Ikea and Costco. Whether you’re stocking up on essentials or out on a weekend family outing, it’s the perfect stop to browse racks of affordable clothing, homewares, books, toys, and more — all gently used, unique, and sustainably sourced.

With more families looking for budget-friendly, eco-conscious ways to shop, Savers’ expansion into Sydney’s northwest is perfectly timed. From baby gear and kids’ toys to stylish everyday fashion and kitchenware, the Marsden Park store is a goldmine for savvy shoppers who want quality without the high price tag.

Michael Fisher, Managing Director at Savers Australia, says the brand’s growth in NSW reflects changing habits across Aussie households.

“We’re excited to give more families in Western Sydney the opportunity to shop consciously, access affordable goods, and keep great items out of landfill,” said Mr Fisher.
“Marsden Park is one of Sydney’s fastest-growing areas, full of young families and tight-knit neighbourhoods — and we know they’ll embrace what it means to be Thrift Proud®.”

Shopping secondhand isn’t just about saving money — it’s also one of the easiest ways to reduce your family’s environmental footprint. Savers stores across Australia help divert over 9.1 million kilograms of reusable goods from landfill each year. That’s a lot of clothing and homewares given a second life — and a big tick for sustainability.

Plus, every purchase supports local communities. Savers buys donated items from charity partners, helping fund vital services and programs — and has contributed over $20 million to not-for-profit organisations.

The new store is a great addition to the area, not only for families to make great thrift finds but also donate their unwanted things.
