New Savers Store Opening in Marsden Park
Just in, the much-loved thrift store Savers is set to open Marsden Park August 21st! Savers started as a single shop for finding secondhand goods and have now turned into a bargain shoppers dream. We recently visited the Prestons shop & loved the neatly organised categories of items to purchase.
Designed with the local community in mind, this new store makes secondhand shopping easy and fun for growing families, with most items priced under $10 on average. That means you can revamp the kids’ wardrobes, update your home décor, or even score a vintage find — all without breaking the bank.
Located on Richmond Road in a brand-new retail precinct, the Marsden Park Savers will sit alongside Western Sydney favourites like El Jannah and Snap Fitness — and it’s just down the road from Ikea and Costco. Whether you’re stocking up on essentials or out on a weekend family outing, it’s the perfect stop to browse racks of affordable clothing, homewares, books, toys, and more — all gently used, unique, and sustainably sourced.
With more families looking for budget-friendly, eco-conscious ways to shop, Savers’ expansion into Sydney’s northwest is perfectly timed. From baby gear and kids’ toys to stylish everyday fashion and kitchenware, the Marsden Park store is a goldmine for savvy shoppers who want quality without the high price tag.
“We’re excited to give more families in Western Sydney the opportunity to shop consciously, access affordable goods, and keep great items out of landfill,” said Mr Fisher.
“Marsden Park is one of Sydney’s fastest-growing areas, full of young families and tight-knit neighbourhoods — and we know they’ll embrace what it means to be Thrift Proud®.” “At a time when the cost of living and demand for sustainable shopping solutions are surging, now is the right time for Savers to expand into New South Wales,” Savers Australia managing director Michael Fisher said.
Savers accepts donations of all kinds from household items, clothes and so much more & then resells them at a lower cost, helping families afford quality items and also giving these items a second home. Not only can you shop a bargain, but you can also grab some fantastic, unique pieces that are hard to come by.
The new store will be a great addition to the area, not only for families to make great thrift finds but also donate their unwanted things. Stay tuned for more exciting updates on the arrival of Savers in Marsden Park!
