Welcome to Bradfield City

We were lucky enough to attend the Bradfield City Community Day, where we got a firsthand look at the future of Western Sydney – and it’s seriously exciting. We toured the cutting-edge Manufacturing Hall, explored the buildings from the upper viewing platform, and learned why this project is such a big deal. Bradfield City is officially Australia’s first new city in more than 100 years, and it’s being built right here in our backyard! From world-class infrastructure and job opportunities to new food, retail, and family-friendly spaces, the future of Western Sydney has never looked brighter.

Western Sydney families will no longer have to trek across the city for international travel. The upcoming Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport, set to open in 2026, is designed with families in mind – smart, efficient, and connected to major motorways and transport networks. Whether it’s flying out for a family holiday or welcoming overseas visitors, having a global gateway in our own backyard is a total game-changer.

Think beyond business – Bradfield City is set to become a must-visit destination for weekend outings, shopping trips, and meals out with the family. Expect:

  • Brand-new retail precincts with local and international stores
  • Dining options for every taste, from buzzing food markets to family-friendly restaurants
  • Green open spaces and outdoor areas for play, picnics, and relaxing
  • Cultural and community events that will bring the area to life

Western Sydney families will finally have a place that offers the lifestyle, convenience, and amenities of an inner-city hub – without the hassle of a long commute.

Bradfield City is designed to be green, modern and family-friendly from the ground up. That means walkable streets, playgrounds, cycling tracks, smart infrastructure, and sustainable energy built in.
